Don’t let the opening music put you off, this doc is filled with some very interesting interviews, cultural insights and personal stories about what expat life in Japan is all about.

Listen: Comedian Kumail Nanjiani is having quite a run. He’s starring in the current HBO series, Silicon Valley, about the struggles of a group of Silicon Valley programmers trying to launch a company (a terrific show!), and has a new series on Comedy Central. In this short and very funny interview, Nanjiani discusses how a 19-year-old from Karachi, Pakistan, came to Iowa, USA to study computer science but ended up becoming a comedian and other thoughts on life as a Pakistani immigrant in the United States.
